SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY/RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)
Would you like to know how much you are loved by God? Fr. Clay will be offering an opportunity to learn more about the spiritual journey and to be transformed by that journey. This will be from the Christian perspective which includes our perspective as Catholics. This is offered for those who are not Catholic and want to learn more about us. It is also for adult Catholics who would like to celebrate First Communion or Confirmation. The group’s initial, introductory meeting will be on September 25 after the 10:00 a.m. mass and then the *second and fourth Sundays of October through April from 11:30-1:00 p.m. in the Church Hall. HOPE THROUGH LOSS AND CHANGE WITH LYNN DOSCH
Living during these days of so much World and Personal Loss and Grief, how do we still hold on to Hope? Julian of Norwich who also lived in extremely difficult and changing times said these words: “All Shall Be Well”. Nearly 30 years ago, Lynn made a pilgrimage to St. Julian’s Church in Norwich, England. Lynn returned home with a deep sense of Hope that still lives in her heart. We invite you to come and share stories, music, scripture and silence along with laughter and tears. It will be a time of healing for all of us. FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH GROUP FALL READING
Join us for a book study on Monastery of the Heart: An Invitation to a Meaningful Life by Joan Chittister. The prose is simple, straightforward, and beautiful. The group will meet on the first Tuesday of the month beginning on October 4, 2016 from 7-8:30 p.m. until March. A pdf of a study guide and a reading assignment will be emailed to participants in order to prepare for the first session.
