THANKSGIVING SERVICE
This year’s Thanksgiving service will be held at St. Stanislaus on Thursday, November 23 at 9:30 a.m. Come, let us give thanks together with St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and Joseph’s Temple. We invite you to a short gathering in our church hall following the service.
FOUR WEEK ADVENT STUDY: JESUS GOD’S PROMISE
Come, join us for a four week walk through “Jesus God’s Promise” inspired by the writings of Henri J.M. Nouwen. In this season of Advent we journey to encounter the Lord who comes to encounter us. May we be ready to let ourselves be visited by Jesus. The study group will meet Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00pm in the Parish Center library on November 28, December 5, 12, and 19. Please join us for Adult Trivia Night on Saturday, January 27, 2018. St. Stanislaus lower level Church Hall. Cost is $15.00 per person, must preregister. Cost includes snacks and soft drinks and a whole lot of laughter! Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Registration and food at 5:15 p.m.; Trivia begins at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds will go to the St. Stanislaus Youth Group Mission trip this summer. We welcome you to join in on our ongoing spiritual growth series. We are using The Holy Longing by Ronald Rolheiser for our fall and winter programming. Please note the six month program continues to be held the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month through March 2018. We do have copies of The Holy Longing books for purchase. Father Clay is present at each session. Program calendars available in the vestibule.

ANNUAL PALM SUNDAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Sunday, March 25. 8:00a.m. to noon. Pancake Breakfast/Silent Auction/Bakery
We invite all of you to join us in the Church Hall for a fabulous breakfast—scrambled eggs (with ham, onions, peppers) and pancakes (blueberry), sausage, juice and coffee. While you are there you can check out our Silent Auction and Bakery. All proceeds help fund the St. Stan’s Women’s Spirituality groups. Adults $8.00. Children $4.00. Children three years and younger free.
